In the film Interstellar, a crew crosses the galaxy looking for a new home. Most of the worlds they reach can't sustain life. Edmunds' planet is the one that can. We like what it stands for: go far, keep going, and build somewhere worth staying.

廣莫之野 · The boundless wilds
Our Chinese name, 廣莫之野, comes from the Zhuangzi. A friend complains that his great tree is too gnarled to be of any use. Zhuangzi replies:
今子有大樹，患其無用，何不樹之於無何有之鄉，廣莫之野，彷徨乎無為其側，逍遙乎寢臥其下。
“You have a great tree and worry that it's useless. Why not plant it in the land of nothing-at-all, in the boundless wilds, wander idly by its side and lie down to rest beneath it?”
Usefulness isn't always obvious at first. Given room to grow, a thing can end up sheltering far more people than anyone expected.
What we're working toward
We want to build products that are still useful ten years from now, and to use AI to bring that help to people all over the world, whatever language they speak. We're not in a hurry. We'd rather get one thing right than ship ten things that don't last.

One problem at a time, until it's solved well. Doing fewer things is how we do them properly.

Simplicity is empathy
When something feels simple, someone did the hard work of understanding you. We try to be that someone.

The person using it matters more than the technology inside it. Models change; people's needs are what we build for.
